Unity-Built Apps & Video Games
Apps & Video Games You didn’t Know were made with Unity
Released in 2005, Unity’s initial aim was to simplify game development and make it easier for a broader group of developers to build games. Almost fifteen years later, Unity remains at the forefront of video game development (now in 2D, 3D, VR, and AR) through its spectrum of real-time tools for programmers and artists, as well as its exhaustive documentation from an enormous community of users.
More than a Video Game Platform
While many people associate Unity primarily with video game creation, this cross-platform software engine is proving to be an invaluable resource for developers, programmers, and designers in multiple fields.
Industries such as film, health care, transportation, manufacturing, construction, and education have discovered the benefits of using this brilliant software mainly because of its compatibility with more than 25 platforms across mobile, console, TV, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and the web.
Thus, The capability to build and deploy on multiple platforms makes Unity a popular choice for the fast creation of immersive and interactive user experiences

Cuphead
Cuphead is a run and gun action indie game based on classic 1930s cartoon style. This was achieved through hand drawn animation, and watercolor backgrounds, and the jazzy soundtrack was recorded live in a studio.
It is one of the most visually striking game ever made with Unity.
Ori & The Blind Forest
Ori and the Blind Forest was and still is one of my all time favorite video games and to be honest I was shocked to find out that it was made with Unity. The game follows a young orphan through a deeply emotional story about love, sacrifice, and hope that exists in us. It’s a visually stunning action-platformer featuring hand-painted artwork, animated characters, and a fully orchestrated score.
In addition to their super stunning audio track. the game won a lot of other awards, for its artistic achievements, the game was also acclaimed at the Unity Awards in 2015 when it won the “Best 2D visuals” award.
